Museum Staff

Meet the staff around the museum and behind the scenes to bring the magic to our community.

Hey! I am DJ Tucker, I use he/him pronouns, and am the Executive Director here at The Children's Museum at Holyoke. As somebody who grew up in Holyoke and came to the museum when I was young, I am so thrilled to be involved with this organization. After graduating from Bryant University, I ventured into the fast-paced world of startups in New York City and Tampa. These experiences honed my skills and prepared me for my next adventure. Before joining the museum, I served as a physical education teacher, where I combined my passion for education and community engagement. I look forward to continuing the museum's mission and creating memorable experiences for all our visitors.

Hello there, I am Juli, I use they/them pronouns. I feel lucky to be working at the very same place that inspired me so much as a child! I grew up in Holyoke and always looked forward to visits and field trips at the Children's Museum. It is satisfying now to be able to facilitate learning through play for all of the kiddos and folks who come. You can often find me running around the Museum during events and the weekdays. When I'm not at the museum, I spend my time playing video games and board games with my family!

I have always loved using my creativity to make art and express myself. You’ll often find me in the art studio leading paper making or other organized crafts, as well as walking around the museum floor when I’m not helping my birthday buddies. I am more than happy to assist you with anything you might need, please feel welcome to ask! Outside the museum, I am usually either studying for my classes or creating sculptures and pottery in the ceramic studio in HCC.

Hey all, I’m Laura and I use they/ them pronouns. I’m 18 as of August 28th! I've been with CMH for a few months now and I'm glad to be a part of the team. I spent a lot of time here as a kid. It's really rewarding being able to give back to the kids in the same way. I graduated from the Girls Inc. program as the group of 2019. I’ve worked previously at the Springfield Science Museum. This fall I'll be starting at Bay Path University as a Health and Human Services major. I plan to go into social work after graduation! At home, I'm a pet lover with a flock of chickens, 2 cats, a snake, and a rabbit and I hope to have a small farm when I buy my own home. I enjoy crocheting, gardening and writing in my free time. My goal both in the museum and in life is to positively impact kids' lives in every small way I can. Hope to meet you at CMH!
