Access to reading materials can vary for children once the school year has ended, and we here at the Museum are passionate about ensuring that every child who comes to our museum has as many opportunities as possible to bolster their reading skills and find joy in stories and books.
Join us this summer to celebrate our community and attend our very first book fair! All families are welcome to choose their own price for the books. Donations will go directly toward future programming at the Museum. Families will also have the opportunity to participate in a raffle! Be sure to check out our art studio to create your own bookmark from scratch!
We are seeking community members to donate new & gently used books for our event! Our goal is to have books in both English and Spanish to serve our community.
Join us for two days of:
•Book fair 10AM-3PM on Saturday, and 12 PM - 3 PM on Sunday
•Bookmark making from paper pulp
•Facepainting
•Raffles for many wonderful prizes
