We have collected over 4000 new and gently used books for all ages, generously donated by our community! Visit us Friday (7/26), Saturday (7/27), and Sunday (7/28) from 10AM-4PM and pick out books that speak to you! Holyoke qualifies as a book desert, and we here at the Museum feel impassioned to try and meet the needs of our community. CMH aims to be an oasis of resources for all of the families and children who come through our doors, and we invite you to spend a few hours experiencing the joy of discovering a new story to lift your imaginations and be inspired!
Each day we will have different activities and offerings available FOR FREE in the upstairs Picnic Area during the Book Fair:
Friday 7/26 - Face Painting
Saturday 7/27 - Ice Cream (while supplies last!) from Herrell's Ice Cream & Bakery starting at 12:30 PM
Sunday 7/28 - Bookmark Making, Local Author Hannah Moushabeck reading her book Homeland: My Father Dreams of Palestine at 2:00 PM
Every family who participates with the Book Fair will receive 1 free raffle ticket (with the option to purchase more) for the chance at winning one (or more!) of our awesome raffle prizes:
