The Children's Museum is located at 444 Dwight Street, just down the hill past City Hall adjacent to Heritage State Park and the upper canal. We recommend parking in the Parking Garage across the street from the Museum.

From South
Springfield, Connecticut, Agawam, Longmeadow:

  • Take I-91 North to exit 12 (I-391 North).
  • Follow 391 to the end.
  • Turn right onto High Street.
  • Go six traffic lights.
  • Turn right off High Street onto Dwight Street.
  • Come down about a block and a half, Museum is on your right.

From North
Northampton, Greenfield, Amherst, Vermont
:

  • Take I-91 South to Exit 16, left at the end of the ramp on Route 202 (Beech Street).
  • After 1 1/2 miles pass the YMCA on the right.
  • At second light after YMCA, take a right on Dwight Street and come into the downtown area.
  • Pass City Hall on your right.
  • Continue a block and a half.
  • You'll see the Children's Museum on your right.

From Mass Turnpike
Points east and west
:

  • Take Exit 4 (W. Springfield).
  • Take I 91 North and get off at Exit 16 (Rt 202).
  • Bear right at the end of the ramp on to Beech Street.
  • After 1 1/2 miles pass YMCA on the right.
  • At second light after YMCA turn right on to Dwight Street and come into the downtown area.
  • Pass City Hall on your right.
  • Continue a block and half.
  • You'll see the Children's Museum on your right.
