For the Little Ones
This
secluded area geared for the Museum's youngest visitors,
aged 2 and under is located adjacent to the Family Resource
center. Little ones enjoy returning to play here again and
again; repetition and familiar surroundings are important
facets of their learning and growth. The Tot Lot provides
developmentally-appropriate activities, parenting resources
and seating for nursing mothers.
There
are books and mobiles, dolls and toys, crawling and climbing
spacea, all in a sunny, safe space with a terrific view
of the canal and urban landscape right outside our building.
